American transport management tech provider Echo Global Logistics has reported a 13.2% revenue increase through 2017, recording a $1.943bn revenue.
The growth has pushed the company, which operates from 30 offices across the country, into the Fortune 1000 list of the USA’s largest firms.
Echo also posted a huge upturn in revenue in Q1 2018, its first quarter income 39% higher than the same period last year.
Doug Waggoner, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer at Echo, said: “When Echo launched 13 years ago, we redefined the logistics industry using web-based technology. Today, that disruption continues as we bring artificial intelligence and an increased investment in our technology to our clients and carrier partners.
“The Fortune 1000 ranking motivates us to continue forward as an industry pioneer and trusted partner to our carriers and clients. Our commitment to high levels of service and simplifying transportation continues to enable us to grow and evolve.”
Echo offers freight brokerage and managed transportation solutions for all major modes, including truckload, partial truckload, LTL, intermodal, and expedited. This is powered by a tech platform that gathers and analyses data from more than 40,000 transport providers.
The firm has also been recognised with a number of recent awards, including being ranked first in Inbound Logistics magazine’s Readers' Choice: Top 10 3PL Excellence Awards.
