The Global Women Supply Chain Leaders Awards 2020 is relaunched and will hold a virtual awards ceremony on September 24, 2020.

In the first global event to celebrate the diverse success stories of women supply chain leaders, GWSCL 2020 is open to anyone with an interest in the truly diverse and rapidly evolving world of women in the supply chain.

In what is set to be a night of celebration, join international business and supply chain leaders to celebrate the increased diversity in the industry. Drawing from every continent, GWSCL 2020 attracts a huge diversity of people, and so the evening presents an opportunity to support your profession, entertain your clients and peers, socialise and network the night away whilst celebrating the winners of the Awards.

Over the years, women have worked hard to steadily carve their niche in the traditionally male-dominated supply chain industry. From making up just 7% of supply chain leadership positions in 2016, this figure jumped to 14% of C-Suite jobs two years later in 2018.

The awards will recognise all women who have achieved extraordinary successes in the supply chain domain through furthering frontiers and tackling the taboos across the world. Its jury, consisting of top global business leaders, will make its recommendations to select awardees in the following categories:

  1. Global Supply Chain Leader
  2. Young Professional 2020
  3. Supply Chain Innovation Excellence 2020
  4. Supply Chain Transformation Excellence 2020
  5. Supply Chain Academic 2020

The first two days from 22-23 September will consist of panel discussions with a live Q&A, keynote speeches and lots of networking opportunities. This will culminate in the virtual awards ceremony on 24 September at 6pm.
