It also mapped out expansion plans for China, India, Japan and Singapore.
The company has also appointed IT industry veteran, Choo Yew Kwong
, to head this sector and officiate its first technical services competency center in Asia.
Co-located at its 200,000 sq ft Penang Logistics Hub in Malaysia, the center provides an advanced level of technical solutions for customers.
“By our estimates, the market is growing at about 25 percent per annum. Of that, Service Logistics
services, especially Technical Services
and repairs accounts for up to 60 percent of the overall spend,” said Paul Graham, CEO, DHL Supply Chain
