Talk about something you don’t want to see one of your warehouse workers doing.

A Texas man stole a forklift and led police on one of the most bizarre chases that you’ll ever see, taking the commandeered forklift on a slow-speed chase through Fort Worth earlier this week.

According to local media reports, police say that 43-year-old Timothy Raines, the forklift’s driver, was drunk and shirtless during the pursuit.

Witnesses have claimed that Raines lifted and lowered the forks during his unconventional escape attempt. Nathan Lowery witnessed the chase, and told Fox News that “the guy was standing up, chugging a beer and threw it at the cop car behind him.”

Amateur video and other witness accounts caught Raines making crude gestures to the pursuing officers.

Raines was eventually caught and charged with theft, aggravated assault of a peace office and driving while intoxicated.

So take a breather. It’s Friday after all, so watch as hilarity ensues on this Texas highway.
