The Instant Group, the flexible workspace brand, has appointed Laura Hobbs as its Global Head of Supply Chain.
Prior to her new position, Hobbs serves as the Procurement Director at Turner & Townsend, working with clients from both the public and private industry.
“The workspace market has changed, and clients now want an all-encompassing solution that helps drive value through their portfolio, over and above the provision of a traditional lease,” stated Lyndsay Hardwick, COO, UK & EMEA and the Instant Group.
“To that end, hiring a supply chain expert with Laura’s experience and ability shows our seriousness in creating workspace solutions that create value for our clients and drive an efficient approach to workplace operation.”
“Laura brings an ability to mitigate costs, and more importantly, align workspace to our clients’ business objectives, whilst injecting innovation and enabling value that our clients will benefit from significantly.”
The Instant Group covers more than four million square feet of ‘managed office’ space.
“Instant’s approach is very distinct: the company is dedicating itself to thinking outside of the property box, to find the best outcomes for its clients,” commented Hobbs.
“These opportunities coupled with the firm’s rapid growth were an enticing proposition and I am delighted to have joined such a forward-thinking, disruptive business.”ha
