The judges identified
JF Hillebrand’s commitment to continuous improvement and said it had consolidated its position as a leader in its field by demonstrating a “competitive, professional and friendly service”.
One judge commented: “They’re constantly adapting to meet the needs of our industry. They get what the
wine industry is all about and work hard to be a part of it.”
The awards were announced at the
London International Wine Fair. It is the fourth time the company has won the title in the last six years.
Managing Director, David Mawer, said: “We offer a service to the
wine and spirit industry that the general logistics companies cannot match. We have also invested heavily in developing new services to meet changing market requirements, such as the increased demand for bulk wine transportation, for which we designed and manufactured our unique Vinbulk solution.”
The company reported a throughput of almost 268,000 containers in 2009 - equating to 1.4 billion cases of wine.
