Nelson Chow, CEVA Managing Director for Vietnam, said: “We are excited to tap into the opportunities for growth in North Vietnam. The Hanoi branch office is jointly set up with CEVA’s local partner, ITL Group, a market leader in transportation logistics and Aviation services in Vietnam and Indochina.
“CEVA’s strong global network and supply chain capabilities, backed by ITL Group’s local knowledge and expertise, enable us to realise our goal to be a logistics provider of choice in the market.”
North Vietnam has seen rapid growth in recent years with many multinational companies setting up operations, manufacturing and increased trading activities which require logistics and supply chain support.
Significant investments in developing the infrastructural connectivity in and outside of Hanoi with new highways, new airport and seaport connections have helped to position northern Vietnam as a key growth region within South East Asia.
Troy Shortell, CEVA’s Executive Vice President of East Asia said: “Expanding our presence in a fast emerging market like Vietnam is part of our overall growth strategy for the Asia Pacific region.
“Vietnam’s location between Southeast Asia and China, is an ideal gateway for us to support our customers’ logistics and transportation needs as we see increasing intra-Asia trade.”
