This two-day seminar focuses on why and how to apply lean principles to all aspects of your current inbound logistics network, including transportation, materials and supplies. At the end of the course, participants will be able to balance inventory costs with transportation costs, improve leadership’s understanding of the supply chain and design a better network based on lean principles. This course is an elective for the Supply Chain Management Certificate.


Georgia Tech Professional Education is an academic division of the Georgia Institute of Technology, offering professional master's degrees, short courses, and certificate programs to meet the needs of working professionals and industry partners. Programs are available at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus, and worldwide through a variety of formats.
