Royal Mail Profits Fall After Loss in Letters Business

Royal Mail profits plunged by 72 percent in the first six months of 2010, it has been revealed. Its group-wide operating profits were £52 million during that time, down by more than two thirds from £184 million during the same period in 2009. No pre-tax profit figures have been released.
