Celadon Group reports revenue up 18.9%

Freight revenue, excluding fuel surcharges, increased 12 percent to $116.7 million in the June quarter, from $104.2 million in the 2009 quarter. Net income was also up at Celadon Group to $2.7 million from $0.2 million last year.

India's freight network receives loan from Japan

The loan, worth $18.5 million, will develop India’s freight rail network. It will help build 552km of rail track for freight traffic in the country’s ‘western corridor’ between Delhi and Mumbai. It is the second phase of the Japanese-Indian collaborative Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) project.
