Supply chain management specialist Kinaxis Inc., provider of RapidResponse has won a contract from Toyota Motor Corporation to manage its automotive demand and supply chain processes.

Toyota will replace its manual planning systems with RapidResponse to unify the company’s global demand and supply planning between its sales and production divisions, and to help better manage vehicle and unit volume.

“We are looking forward to working with Kinaxis to optimise inventory and enable more flexible responses to customer demand,” said Iwao Nakano, General Manager Corporate IT Division at Toyota.
