Unilever chooses Kuehne + Nagel as Romania partner

Unilever Supply Chain Company AG (USCC), the European supply chain organization of Unilever, has selected Kuehne + Nagel as its logistics partner in Romania

Kuehne + Nagel is Unilever's logistics partner in Roman

Kuehne + Nagel will be responsible for the warehousing of Unilever’s home and personal care (HPC) product range in some Southeastern European countries.

The HPC brand portfolio contains brands such as Dero, Rexona, Axe, Coccolino, Dove and Omo.

From a factory located close to Ploiesti, near Bucharest, Kuehne + Nagel will provide warehousing services in the Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Moldovan markets.

After the reception of stock from Unilever’s manufacturing plants across Europe, it will securely store and handle the goods and will provide a range of value-adding functions.

Martin Whitcombe, USCC’s European Customer Logistics Director, said Unilever’s consumers in Southeastern Europe would “benefit hugely” from the partnership.
