Energy Solutions International merges with Entessa

The merger expands ESI’s product line to include logistics and order-to-cash management for pipeline, marine and terminal operating companies.

Entessa is a provider of logistics management software for the oil and gas supply chain. Its technology platform, Synthesis™, is said to complement ESI’s suite of solutions aimed at the energy industry.

Details of the transaction have not yet been disclosed.

Dr. Jo Webber, who has been appointed Executive Chairman of ESI, said it is a “truly synergistic merger”.

“Entessa's leadership as a provider of logistics management software to pipeline operations, as well as marine, terminal and refinery applications, gives the new Energy Solutions a broader selection of technologies and solutions for our customers' Order-to-Cash chain management,” added Dr. Webber.

Brian Freed, CEO and co-founder of Entessa, has been named CEO of Energy Solutions International.

“The new Energy Solutions International will continue to focus on improving our customers' efficiency and performance through the application of innovative technologies," Freed said.
