Newly-appointed Long has worked in the auto ID and enterprise mobility market for the last six years and has extensive experience of the requirements of Irish users.

Clive Fearn, Sales and Marketing Director, revealed that the company’s auto ID and enterprise mobility solution revenue grew 25 percent in 2009. A proportion of the revenue came from the Irish marketplace, prompting the expansion into Ireland.

“The expansion of our business operations outside of the UK is key to helping us achieve our goal of becoming the largest enterprise mobility solutions provider in Europe by 2013,” Fearn added.

The Barcode Warehouse has a significant existing Irish customer base across a range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, retail supply chain and food manufacturing. It is now looking to extend this to other sectors.

The company provides hardware, software and a comprehensive managed service, which includes device staging and configuration, deployment, remote device management, hot swapping, repair and helpdesk support.
