The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals will host its 2007 Annual Conference, October 21-24, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA.
The largest event of its kind, this year’s annual conference will provide attendees with
a broad range of educational sessions, as well as numerous opportunities to network with thou-sands of global supply chain professionals. “I am very excited about our 2007 conference line-up,” said Pat Daugherty, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ (CSCMP) Annual Conference Chair. “We have outstanding general sessions, many new tracks, and a fantastic location.”
Monday’s keynote speaker will be former Hewlett-Packard chairman and CEO, Carly Fiorina. Tuesday’s major session will focus on New Markets for Old—How Disruptive Demo-graphics Will Transform Business, and will be presented by Joseph Coughlin, director, MIT AgeLab, a unit of MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. Business pundit, author, and columnist Stanley Bing, also known as Gil Schwartz, will be Wednesday’s Closing Session speaker.

The CSCMP Bookstore is another new offering at the 2007 CSCMP Annual Conference. Attendees will be able to choose from dozens of today’s best supply chain books at this on-site bookstore.
Growing more popular by the year, the CSCMP Learning Exchange will offer hands-on demonstrations of the latest supply chain management technology and software. At this event, attendees will be able to meet with representatives from leading universities and educational organizations. They will also be able to speak one-on-one with human resource professionals at executive recruitment and placement firms. This year, a new Experts Community will feature companies and organizations that offer world-class services or products that are needed in the many functions within the supply chain management profession.
The registration rate to attend this year’s 2007 Annual Conference in Philadelphia will not increase over the 2006 rate. CSCMP members and nonmembers will also receive a discounted rate if they register by September 30, 2007.
